Des Moines, IA has a robust biking community with trails throughout the city. The best part of many of these routes is they travel by a variety of restaurants, bars, and breweries. The trail starts near Principal Park, follows the Des Moines river south towards Easter Lake to the start of the Summerset Bike trail, and winds down the old train line from Carlise to Indianola.
